On February 16th Osaka YMCA Middle School students participated in their first WJAA event at Senri and Osaka International School! The students played five football games over the course of a busy Saturday, against schools from Nagoya, Kobe, and Osaka.

While they were unable to come away with a win, the students had a fun time scoring goals, making good defensive plays and showing excellent progress throughout the day.

The Middle School students are excited to take this experience and build off of it, participating in a full soccer season next year. Coaches Mr Nickel and Ms Mami are proud of the teamwork and positive attitude students displayed throughout the day!
