On January 23rd, we had our Japanese New Year Festival 2019.

Middle school students led this event. It was a great success! In the opening ceremony, music teachers, Mr. Jocic, Ms. Greer, EC kids and teachers performed with musical instruments.

The comic storyteller, Mr. Manga Katsura, also played Japanese musical instruments such as the Japanese transverse bamboo flute and drum. We enjoyed Mochi pounding and Japanese activities for the New Year Festival.
