Grade 1 enjoyed the day at Banpaku Park.

Their highlights were the Japanese garden and the National Museum of Ethnology. Grade 1 were in awe of the beautiful autumn colours on their walk around the Japanese garden. There was so much to see and learn about inside the museum. Students made lots of connections between what they saw and their own culture, which was very exciting.

Grade 1 finished off the day by having lunch together. It was a day full of discussing, observing, connecting and sketching!
