Preschool Fieldtrip to Tennouji Zoo
Preschool class had their field trip to Tennoji Zoo last week. They had the opportunity to see different animals, many of which the students were seeing for the first time.
When Preschool arrived at the zoo they headed towards the reptile exhibit. There they saw lizards and amphibians of all sizes. Afterwards, they headed to the African exhibit where we were able to see rhinos, lions, and giraffes.
Preschool took a break for a picnic lunch. Next they got to see the wolves and foxes. The students heard the wolves howling and they tried copying the howls. Then, they went to see the large birds, where the students practised standing like the cranes and flamingo.
Lastly, they went to see the chimpanzee and monkeys, but unfortunately the chimpanzees were hiding from view. Luckily, there were some bearded monkeys playing together and that gave the students a good laugh. It was time to leave and the students took a group photo and got on the bus and returned to OYIS. They had a wonderful time and learned a lot about the animals that we saw.
