In Japanese class, students will be learning about journalism and the style and register of news report writing. To support the students learning we were taken on a tour of Asashi Shinbun, the largest media outlet in Osaka.

The exciting tour included an overview of historical and contemporary printing process and a walk through of the news room.

In the pictures below, you can see that the graphic designers walked us through the news design process – resulting in our very own OYIS MSP hard copy newspaper.
