On September 28th, the OYIS Cross Country Team wrapped up their season at the Western Japan Athletic Associations Cross Country Meet hosted by Canadian Academy.

Grade 6 – 8 competitors ran 3 kilometres and a Grade 9 student competed over a gruelling 5 kilometres.

With over 100 participants from schools across Kansai it was a tough but rewarding race for the 13 OYIS students. Thank you to the coaches and volunteers for making this a successful first season of OYIS Middle School Athletics.
