KA had a super fun day of exploring at Dream 21 last week. We used our bodies to move freely, and our minds to be scientifically curious. In our unit of inquiry for Who We Are, our learning has focused on how our bodies work and what they can do for us.

We had a picnic lunch at Hanazono Park, then played more at the outstanding outdoor play area. We dipped our toes in the river afterwards to cool down and have a super sensory moment.

Combining both gross and fine motor skills in a day of deep independent play, helped us connect to our ongoing inquiries, and create a super hands-on memory.
