This year’s Literacy Week was filled with fun language-related activities for all students in the PYP and many chances to win points for their house. This resulted in a nail-biting win for Fire by three points on Friday.

Students were also able to experience Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu this year during lunch and recess times.

In addition, Student Government again put on a scavenger hunt and the bulletin board challenge led by MYP students proved to be another popular activity.

Due to COVID-related protocols, parents were not able to observe classes this year but were treated to a number of videos exploring different subjects and how they are experienced at OYIS.
