Dear Grade 10 Parents and Students,
We are excited to invite you to a Diploma Programme Subject Selection Information Session on Wednesday November 30, 2022 from 6:00-7:30pm. The event will be held at the Tosabori campus on the 9F. It is mandatory for all grade 10 students to attend and we encourage all parents to come and learn more about Diploma Programme course options at OYIS and about university planning.
Please note that all students are required to attend this event. Since students are dismissed from classes at 2:30pm, they will be allowed to stay on campus from 2:30pm until 6:00pm when the event starts. During this time, students can study or work on their Personal Project in the DP2 or DP3 classroom. For dinner, students will need to bring either their own food or bring some money and at 5:00pm the Diploma Coordinator will take them to Lawson’s or Life to purchase some food.
Ms Amy Pothong (University Counsellor, Student Support Coordinator) Mark Beales (OYIS Secondary Principal) and Jamie Riddalls (Diploma Coordinator) will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the Diploma Programme or to discuss university pathways options.
We look forward to seeing you on campus at Tosabori to discuss how the Diploma Programme at OYIS can help prepare our students for a wide range of post-secondary pathways.
If you have any questions about this event, please email Jamie Riddalls ([email protected]).
Best wishes,
Jamie Riddalls
