After-school Activities

OYIS Co-Curricular, where education gets creative.

Co-Curricular activities take great importance alongside academic performance at OYIS. Opportunities to participate in a variety of clubs in music and the arts, science & technology, and sports, your children will enrich their school experience, taking learning beyond the classroom.  In our international community, we have discovered that after school activities also provide children with additional occasions to see their friends, peers, and educators, which ultimately strengthen our community.

Elementary School

The co-curricular program at OYIS is designed to provide a well-rounded education by encouraging students to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally, in a wide variety of after-school activities. Student organizations, clubs and sports provide opportunities for leadership, development of interests IB learner profile traits such as caring and risk taking in our students.

In the elementary school, students join clubs to reinforce the values they learn during the day, such as collaboration, leadership, and agency. Below is a selection of just some of the clubs that run during the school year.
